Emiliano Granatelli - Biografia
Emiliano Granatelli

Emiliano Granatelli, born in Rome in 1973, graduated from the State Art Institute of the capital. Since 1996, with a well-defined humanist orientation, he has dedicated himself to deepening paths of social activity and self-knowledge inspired by the thought of the master and philosopher Silo.

After a long period spent in Argentina, since 2012 he has focused on the study and practice of the "Oficio del Fuego", a meditative work that allows him to explore the allegorical potential of fire, matter, and its transformative processes.

In January 2021, Granatelli opened his studio in Rome's lively San Lorenzo neighborhood, immersing himself in the world of ceramics through the exploration of shapes, textures, and colors. The remarkable concentration of art studios in this area has fostered constant dialogue with artists from diverse personal and professional backgrounds, enriching his vision. As he himself emphasizes, "Art is a personal necessity within a collective process."

His artistic research is distinguished by the personal collection of raw materials, with clay sourced directly from nature. Granatelli's works define themselves as a "neo-primitive" exploration, where the figurative and didactic aspects give way to an archetypal, deeply evocative language.
